GLAVSTROY - ETO LETO
«Glavstroy» became an official partner of the «This Summer» festival, and the team at in-out studio conceived and brought to life a six-meter «Digital River»—an installation inspired by life in the «Beregovoy» residential complex.
The centerpiece of the installation was a six-meter digital river, with waves stretching across the VIP area of the festival. In addition, three three-meter screens were installed, displaying the artist’s vision of life by the water. All the content was created by hand: the waves were drawn to create the illusion of continuous water flow, not just simple oscillation.
The image of the river was intentionally made more artistic and fantastical. It was important to make the river noticeable and striking so that the waves wouldn’t get lost in the open space with plenty of natural light, and to evoke a desire to walk along them—which is exactly what the guests of the „This Summer“ festival’s VIP area did.
